I've been waiting for this moment for weeks...the hutch I've been updating is finally FINISHED! This one has been a lot of work, and at moments I wondered if I had perhaps finally bitten off more than I could chew! I'm pretty sure that this project is the most time-consuming I've completed to date, with the exception of our kitchen cabinets.Just as a refresher, here are some pictures of this hutch in it's original state. I found it on the online auction website Everything But the House (check it out at www.ebth.com), placed a bid, and won! I really loved the shape and lines of this piece from the get-go, and knew with a pop of color it could become a show-stopper piece! After several days weeks of sanding, priming, and painting (I used Sherwin Williams Denim on the exterior and Pure White on the interior), here is the finished product...To see the full reveal (as well as the first color I tried- which was ALL WRONG!)...head on over to Finding Purpose Furniture!Original article and pictures take http://www.hometalk.com/10876129/updated-hutch-from-boring-to-beautiful site
