Painting the Kitchen Island (again)?

I'm thinking about painting my kitchen island again. I painted it black last year but am thinking a pretty teal might be the right color. I do love the black too though!
This island was made by my husband using Lowe's "ready to go" cabinets, btw...with a little modification!
