I Bought an Abandoned Roached/ Rodent Infested Town House!!!

If you watch to much HGTV you start to believe you need to own income property and flip houses. If you are really crazy you actually buy an abandoned town house full of roaches rats and who knows what else.

It smelled worse than it looks!! DO NOT I repeat DO NOT open the fridge!!!! No one ever listens!!!

This is the living room. The the kitchen is behind this lovely wood wall. I cut and rolled this carpet up and carried it out. You have no idea!!!

These nasty stairs lead up to the bedrooms. I do not have the pic of the holes in the ceiling that possum nests had fallen through. They had made nests in the attic insulation.

There is only one thing you can do. GUT TO THE STUDS!!!!

We decided to take out the wall between the kitchen and living.

Time to put it all back together. New insulation, Sheetrock, Paint, and beautiful cabinets!!

The peninsula/bar is going to be amazing!!

Remember the stairway to He...? My husband and I made our own treads and risers and saved a ton of $$

Light fixtures do wonders to a place. I love love love this one. Got it half price at Lowes!!

This once ugly Beast is now a true Beauty!! We rented it for more than any other unit in the complex and the renters want first option if we ever sell. I loved the challenge!!
