Do you ever see something random in a bunch and feel determined to come up with something fun to do with them? That's how this bundle of knitting needles got a new life as whimsical paper flowers.
I found a fun assortment of knitting needles at a thrift store. I decided to turn them into a little bouquet of paper flowers.
The peeling paint and numbered tops were inspiring to me.
These were my supplies...first I used a flower paper punch to make the shape. Next I used a regular paper punch to make the whole. Then, I attached them at the top with a little Tacky Glue.
You will need to find a place to lean them upside down for a bit to dry. I used metal tool tote with a handle.
This is the tricky part. If one falls, they all fall. It takes a steady hand...and an extra dose of patience.
When they are dry, you can put them in a vase or stick them a plant. It's just a fun little dose of whimsy.
I really love how they look in my milk glass vase collection.
