Ghostly Mason Jar

Have you tried etching glass? It's a wonderful technique for Halloween projects like this Ghostly Mason Jar.

Supplies: Ball(R) Canning Purple Heritage Jar (quart size), DecoArt Easy Etch, a vinyl ghost outline, firefly lights, ribbon, a faux pumpkin and hot glue.

Step 1: Add vinyl. Tip: Your local craft store probably has a die cut center. You can buy a single sheet of vinyl at the store and use their die cut center to cut out any shape they have.

Step 2: Add Easy Etch, following instructions on jar. I left the Easy Etch on for 20 minutes.

Step 3: Scrape off the Easy Etch and put it back in the jar (it's reusable!)

Step 4: Add some ribbon around the rim of the jar.

Step 5: Put firefly lights inside and glue a faux pumpkin on top!

Now you have a BOO-tiful jar!
