Desk Makeover With A Map

This desk was meant to come home with me. After a friend had it in her yard sales for the past year, I finally decided to buy it. It had a lot of amazing qualities.

The drawer that pulls out is one of them and then there is the old wood on the sides and legs.

The thing that I had to change was the painted particle board on the top.

We used scrap wood we had in the garage and cut it to fit the top.

I stained it all a dark color and this is what it looks like now. Isn't it beautiful!!!

I dry-brushed the rest of it in a soft gray.

Last, I cut an old map and Mod Podged it inside the drawer. This is definitely my favorite part.
