Burlap Chargers DIY

Give your old chargers some burlap love. Make a batch of home-made Mod-Podge and cover old or clearance shelf chargers with burlap. The update gives interesting texture!

Easy and quick DIY to transform old chargers into aged burlap chargers.

Using the charger as a pattern, cut a square one inch from the plate's edge.

Brush home-made Mod-Podge over each charger and quickly place a burlap square on top.

Brush glue mixture over entire burlap surface. Press the burlap into the curve of the plate so it will adhere well. Allow to dry.

Trim burlap from the edge, then brush another coat of glue mixture around the edge.

Very lightly, brush dark wax over, just randomly adding more pressure. Rub well with a dry cloth to blend. You don't have to do this step, but I like the aged look.

Enjoy your new chargers! They'll add beauty and texture to your plate stack.
