DIY How To Make New Books Look Old

I love the look of old ruffled page display books in catalogs like Restoration Hardware that are often precious French antique finds.
This is a quick and easy DIY that you don't even have to leave the house for and can do today!

Books add so much to vignettes, especially when they have some age to them.





Gather up some old non~literary masterpiece books that you have lying around. It's a great way to recycle! Pull off the covers and try and find a variety of book sizes if you plan on grouping together.





Brew a pot of strong coffee and give the books a soak. I prefer using coffee to tea to age books as well as fabric.
