DIY Beam Sofa Table

We made a beam sofa table out of some leftover beams we have in our garage. Although we have had a table or chest behind our sofa we wanted something that was taller and could run the length of the sofa (because nothing but dust and lost toys hung back there anyway:).

To create this sofa table we used some wood beams we had in our garage.

This sofa table was super easy to make with the exception of the weight of the beams. I have no idea what these beams were originally used for but we are pretty certain the some are made of oak because we can barely lift them:).
